This Belgian style ale featured a very understated version of the hop bitterness often found in a true IPA but finished clean and dry with a pleasant resinous hop aroma.
As the name suggests, this ale comes out very opaque in a fallow color and features the Witbier characteristic combination of coriander and Curacao orange.
I’m not quite sure why it’s called an IPA but like whatever Deschutes, you do you, booboo! Chainbreaker's a good example of the fluid definitions that have develop in craft brewing. It might appear that the popularity of the IPA has turned the beer style into a marketing buzzword but I think it's pretty cynical to overlook the creativity and experiementation that also leads to categorical ambiguity.
Also witbier + Washington hops is just a beautiful thing to bring to the world.
